Butter for the Hamattan

This dry season our skin need extra moisture and sealing to keep it healthy and glowing.

I made myself a nice bowl for butter for my hair and skin; I like to use my butter for both.
Using Shea butter as my primary ingredient, I added glycerine, cocoa butter, olive oil and palm kernel oil.
The glycerine is rose scented and cocoa butter also has a delicious smell; so my butter smell sooooooooooo goooooddd.....

I eye ball all my ingredients and don't measure, its like cooking so I use my judgment.I heated my ingredients just to the point where they are soft and easy to work with then I whipped to make the butter nice and smooth.

All the ingredients

End product is soft and smooth like butter
To make a skin and hair butter you can use a wide variety of natural oils and butters. They are great for any season not just the dry. You can add essential oils too for nice smell. It helps keep hair and skin moisturized, smooth and healthy.
